acquisition diligence for the steering committee
What I did
Drove the financial and structuring work behind a multi-site grain-asset divestiture: eight elevator locations across two business units carved into three transactions, defining the deal perimeter and shaping the buyer landscape leadership took to market.
Led the valuation behind a renewable-diesel and oilseed-crush capital program, pricing each plant investment across the feedstock, trade-policy and clean-fuel-credit scenarios (RVO, 45Z) that determine which projects clear, and gave leadership the read it used to direct capital.
Built the financial backbone for a regulated midstream pipeline negotiation, modeling the tariff, volume-commitment and escalation economics that set the company's position at the table.
Ran diligence on a live acquisition and gave the steering committee and senior leadership the analysis behind the go-forward decision.
Models I work with

Renewable-diesel and oilseed-crush plant valuations across feedstock, trade-policy and clean-fuel-credit scenarios.
Pipeline negotiation economics
Tariff, volume-commitment and escalation modeling for a regulated midstream pipeline negotiation.
Divestiture structuring
The deal perimeter and buyer landscape for a multi-site grain-asset sale.
Acquisition diligence
Analysis behind the go-forward decision on a live acquisition.
Sample build: plant investment under policy scenarios
A processing plant earns an operating margin plus a clean-fuel credit per gallon. Policy decides how much of the credit survives. The model prices the same plant under three policy cases and shows which ones clear the required return.

Credit kept in full
$69M
Clears the hurdle
Credit cut in half
-$96M

Credit removed
-$262M
Does not clear
| Case | Credit kept | NPV | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Credit kept in full | 100% | $69M | Clears |
| Credit cut in half | 50% | -$96M | Falls short |
| Credit removed | 0% | -$262M | Falls short |
The plant needs 79% of the credit kept to clear a 9% hurdle.
